My name is Raquel Gonzales and I am a 5’5” junior setter at Centennial High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I have played high school volleyball for the past 4 years. My team and I won the NM 2016 6A volleyball state championship and I earned 1st team All District and 1st team All State. In 2017, we were runner-up in the state championship game. Currently I have a 3.9 GPA and 24 ACT score.
I am looking for a school where I can balance my academic and athletic abilities. I plan on pursuing a Criminology Degree and continue with a career with the FBI. My desire is to find a competitive volleyball environment where I can continue to be challenged and to improve my skills but also make an impact as a team player.
