Hi! My name is Alexa.
Sports was a big part of my childhood. Like many kids, I played a variety of different sports growing up. I played baseball, soccer, dance and gymnastics. It wasn’t until I found volleyball that I really felt a true connection with a sport.
My intention is to continue to work hard and to grow as a player in the sport which I love. Over the last few years I have become extremely passionate about the game. I am determined to play volleyball on a college level. I consider myself to be a team player, self-disciplined and kind. I manage my time well and I have no doubt that I will be able to dedicate my time to the team as well as balance my academic. When I imagine my college years, I vividly see myself connected to a team - a volleyball family.
I am interested in pursuing a degree in environmental engineering. I’d like to help make our planet sustainable for generations to come. Our carbon footprint continues to grow, while some of our resources are shrinking. Everyone’s choices have an impact. I want my choices to have a positive influence.
Looking forward to the next chapter in my life! Thank you for your consideration.
