Hi. My name is Ava Budd, Class of 2025 at Valley Central High School. I have loved volleyball for many years. I started playing competitive club with Downstate Juniors VBC when I was in 7th grade and was chosen as a starter libero or ds, for my school teams in 8th & 9th grade, in 10th grade I got pulled up to play varsity volleyball. I have played all positions in the past but have really found my place as a Libero/DS. I now play on the OCLE Lady Elite team as a libero. In addition to playing volleyball, I currently play softball on my school team as well as travel ball with the Hudson Valley Hawks and was previously a gymnast with Kennetts Gymnastics for 8 years. While I appreciate playing other sports, I have found that volleyball is truly my passion and I would like to reach collegiate level of play. I am interested in pursuing a degree in Forensic Science or Criminal Justice and my goal is to become a Homicide Detective.
