• I've been playing this sport since 7th grade. I always had an interest in volleyball. I decided to tryout and my friends decided to tryout as well. I struggled with it but with the help of my coach and teammates I got to be the volleyball player I am today. The top thing I've learned while playing this game of volleyball is how to be a leader on and off the court. I went through a hard time with my family when I was younger and I didn't know how to be there for my brother but I learned how to support and help him by taking the love of volleyball and the love of my teammates to be there for him. 

This year (2017) on varsity I had a position switch. I have never played right side before and it was something new. I asked my coaches what I could to to help myself with hitting. I stayed a little bit after practice and pulled my assistant coach aside to help me.  That faith they had in me taught me to never doubt myself and almost anything is possible if you put you mind to it. This taught me the commitment and determination it takes to be a volleyball player. 

Kellenberg memorial high school has a great volleyball program and I feel that has had a great impact on me as well. I aspire to play volleyball in college I feel I have the talent for it and will be a good fit. I'm hoping to find a college that will be a good fit for me athletically and as well as academically
