Anasty Faavesi '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anasty Faavesi, I'm a 5’8 hitter with versatility and experience I've gained in my nine years of volleyball. I’m originally from Hawaii, but was raised in North Carolina once my family and I moved when I was two. My plan is to continue playing volleyball at the collegiate level and school I feel fits me best where I can thrive, become part of a second family, explore, discover myself, and with continue my academic journey pursuing my interest of study- Nursing. By the end of Senior year of High School I plan to graduate with my CNA.  Being part of the pacific islands' culture, family and love are major values I hold close to heart; I'm extremely family-oriented and we do about everything together. As much as I love being around my loved ones, I’m looking forward to exploring a new environment, meeting new friends and teammates, and express my love of traveling and helping others in the medical field, eventually beyond the state of North Carolina. Accomplishments I've made this senior year (Fall 2022) HS season include making All-County for High school season (2nd Time in row), All-Conference, along with being captain and a 6-rotation OH/DS, and regarding academics- getting accepted into CNA course through my HS, and being inducted into National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).
