For the remainder of my high school career, I plan to grow stronger academically and athletically. As of right now I am ranked thirteenth out of my graduating class of 161 students and I plan on advancing until I graduate. I am able to manage my grades along with Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Softball, Beta Club, National Honors Society, and being an officer of the FFA. Being known as a student athlete, I feel that it is important to set high standards for yourself and to act like a role model to your peers. When I am on the volleyball court, I know people are watching us as a team and as individuals. With the opportunity I have had to become a student athlete at South Stokes High School, I have learned that it is important to have a team that acts like a family on and off the court. My goal for this season is that our volleyball team will grow stronger as a team on the court but also bond in friendship off the court also. As a captain, I plan to lead our team in becoming strong so that we can bring home a championship title.
Once I graduate high school I plan on attending a two or four year university to study Criminal Justice. My ultimate goal as an athlete is to play a sport at the collegiate level. Ever since I was little, I have always dreamed of becoming a college athlete and now my dream is in my near future. I am willing to give it all of my ability to better my skills in volleyball so I will be asked to join a college volleyball team. Dedication and work ethic are my top priorities with anything that I participate in. If I receive a scholarship to play college volleyball, I will always give 110% to my team, my coaches, and my academics.
