Hello, my name is Charlee Krieg. I am currently attending Cavalier High School in Cavalier, North Dakota, and I will be graduating in 2020. I live with my parents Justin and Casey, and the many cats and dogs we have. My family has been very supportive to me and they are one of the most important things to me including my sports and academics.
I started playing volleyball at the age of 10, and I always knew it would be my passion and favorite sport. My dream is to earn a college degree and play at a high level of volleyball. I know this will take a lot of dedication and hard work. My parents' have always told me that I could do anything, and I want to make it come true!
I work very hard in the class room to keep up with my grades and eligibility. I have a very busy schedule with class starting at 7:30 in the morning to practice ending at 6:30-7:00 at night. I also work on the weekends at the local cafe. I make sure to manage my time in order to get my homework done, work hard during practice, and work on the weekends to make extra money. I'm looking for a school that has a strong academic program and that is interested in my academic success.
I am very coach able and willing to try anything new, and I want to continually become a better person and volleyball player. I am very competitive and love a good competition. I believe that playing at a high level of volleyball would help me become a better player and learn new things. I also believe it would prepare me for future matches and give me more experience.
By my senior year of high school I will have played two years of club volleyball and four years of varsity competition. I am a six rotation outside/middle hitter looking for a program that can showcase all of my abilities and skills. Throughout my years of playing, I have been a right side, outside, and middle hitter. I am very confident in all my skills and feel I will be able to impact your program immediately.
Through my high school years, hopefully, my experiences both on and off the court will help me make a smooth transition to the college game. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to share my personal statement. Hopefully, you have me on your radar so someday my dream comes true!
