For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion and love for playing volleyball. I first started playing volleyball in fourth grade, and ever since then, my passion for the game has grown. Volleyball has transformed my life in many aspects. It has taught me the importance of teamwork, hard work, and has especially helped me to become mentally strong. My hard working ethic has carried over from volleyball into my school environment. I work extremely hard to get the best grades I can and I value my education very much.
My experience playing volleyball in high school has been amazing! I started on the varsity team my freshman year as a DS and we had a very successful season making it to the Division I State semi-finals. I have now been the starting libero for the past two seasons. My sophomore year, the St. Joseph Academy varsity team set several new records in wins on the season and made it to the Division I State finals. This year, we had another very successful season and made it deep in the playoffs again.
This year I am playing up a year on the 18 Black team. I have been playing up a year for the past two seasons and it has been w great challenge to push my volleyball skills to another level.
Playing competitive beach volleyball is another sport that I have come to love that truly compliments my indoor volleyball skills. I have played with my beach volleyball partner for nearly 6 years and we were fortunate enough last summer to play in the USVBA Beach Nationals in Siesta Key, Florida. We qualified in both the 16’s and the 18’s division for Nationals.
