Kyla Burnett '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a good candidate for anyone's team because I am willing to play any position and do anything neccesary to benefit the team. That characteristic makes me different than other recruits because on the teams that I have played on in club volleyball and high school volleyball, I have played every position because the team needed me to. I am a good candidate because I always encourage my team and I maintain a positive attitude. I am good at communicating with my teammates and coaches and I take directions well. The high school I play for has a saying "Excellent Academics. Excellent Athletics and Excellent Attitudes". I hold a 3.8 GPA and my grades always come first. In my athletics I do anything I can to get better which means staying after practice to work with my coaches or asking a question as soon as I don't understand something. I also watch film and college volleyball and pay attention to my position and look for things that I can use to improve my game.
