Maya Murphy '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maya Murphy, I am 15 years old and a sophomore at Fayetteville-Perry High School. I am the starting setter for the varsity team and made 1st Team All-District this past year. I have played volleyball since I was 8 years old, and I immediately fell in love with volleyball. I am very hard working and dedicated to the sport. Since I grew up on an apple orchard I have learned how to work hard from a very young age. I have to work to pay for any of the extra things I want to do including club volleyball. I started playing club in 8th grade and I currently play for Cincy Crush. I am also a very good teammate and try my best to make everyone around me a better player. Many times I have stayed after practice and would offer for my teammates to stay with me so we can all get some more practice in and build teamwork. I have a 4.0 and intend to keep it throughout high school. I am also enrolled in College Credit Plus classes.
