My name is Casey Kingsland and I am 17 years old. I have been playing volleyball since my 7th grade year. Ever since then volleyball has became more than a sport, it’s a hobby. My freshman year of high school I decided to quit basketball so that I could take on volleyball full time. I started club around the same time. During club I had the opportunities to play above my age group and that really helped me understand how much I love the sport and the potential I had. I also share the love for the sport with my family. They have been to about every game I have ever played (and I mean EVERY) and this past year we all decided to start playing sand volleyball together. It has been a very fun experience and even better since it’s with the people I love. Volleyball has made me a better leader and a better person and I wouldn’t choose anything else to make me happy.
