Playing for NOVA Juniors this year has been the highlight of my year for volleyball. Playing on a national team, has helped develop my skills and overall intensity playing at a high level. As for personal development, I feel like I grew the most as a Junior during my school varsity season, as I never went off the court. I had a new coach and took major roles as both a setter, middle hitter, and captain. This experience made me grow in the game, in my work-ethic, and as a leader on the court.
I am a well-rounded player as I have played every position on the court, but I mainly enjoy playing middle or outside. I have played volleyball for six years and all this experience has showed me the values of teamwork and commitment. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me in both athletics and academics. I believe I have a strong work-ethic and leadership abilities that will make me excel and impact your program.
