I thank my parents for being such an influential force in my life. Sports were always a part of our routine growing up. I remember becoming interested in sports as young as five years of age. Sports had such a positive impact on me. It not only helped me get stronger and healthier physically, it taught me honesty, teamwork and fair play. Sports taught me to follow rules, respect teammates and opponents, as well as develop self-respect, confidence and how to manage stress. It kept me humble but competitive.
I was fortunate to be a part of some amazing programs and I am looking forward to being on a college team that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I believe I have the talent to compete for a college team. I know I'm a leader, have strong work ethic that I learned from my parents, and I am the epitome of a team player, being named team captain on my last two club teams. I believe I will make an immediate impact on your program as an athlete and student.
