Ashley Elliott '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashley Elliott and I am a teammate first.  I like to lead by example.  I work all year long on volleyball.  I work out, go to all open gyms and I am in JO.  I try to be a leader on the floor, communicating in practice and games.  I also try to cheer up my teammates when they are down or discouraged.  I am a junior this season.  Last year I lettered on varsity, and got the "Rookie of The Year" award. 

Academics are very important to me.   I work very hard in school, just like on the court.  I also try to be a leader in class.  I try to get good grades, do my homework, and help teachers during my free time.  I am in the National Honor Society at my school. My goal is to become a teacher in an elementary school, and also a coach.  I love working with kids.

I have played sports since I was little, I play volleyball and basketball.  I was also in softball for 9 years.  I love being on a team.

But, volleyball is my favorite sport, I can play all positions and will do whatever my coach and team need me to do.  I love this game.
