Courtney Kozakiewicz '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'8", and 165 lbs. I have played volleyball for six years at Milford Christian Academy, and played my first season of club for LINESHOT Volleyball Club, for the 2010 season. I was also asked to return to them this upcoming 2011 season without a try-out. I've most of the time been the youngest on my team, due to being played up, but my coaches always refer to me as the "leader" or the "one who carries the team". I have been MVP at my high school for three years, and I was captain of my team my eighth grade year. My eighth grade year, I was asked to play up on the JV team, and my sophomore year, I was asked to play up on the Varsity team, and both years I played up, I was a starter. My junior year, my team placed 2nd in our conference, and I received First team All-Conference, All-Tourney, and I was the only one from my school on the All-Star team. I'm not tied to any school in particular, but I would like to stay in states near Ohio. I'm not opposed to going to Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, or remaining in my home state, Ohio. States like California, New York, and Florida are out of my preferred boundaries. I am looking for any sized Christian college. I'm not picky on the size of the school at all! My family is interested in financial aid, so we are all for scholarships! My desired major(s) are Nursing, Psychology, or Social Work. My atheletic goals are to play my freshman year, and not just sit bench. I'm willing to go to a smaller school, and get more playing time, rather than go to a larger school, and sit the bench all season.

*Courtney was also Captain of her Varsity Volleyball Team her Senior Year.  She was All Tourney at both tournaments in which she participated.  She again was chosen 1st Team All Conference and was chosen to be on the 2011-2012 Confernce All-Star Team.
