Lily Nelson '18 Recruiting Profile

In the future, I hope to become a zoo veterinarian. I have always had a passion for animals my whole life. I also have always had a passion for sports thought. I have played multiple sports my whole life, before high school I was playing five sports during the year. Now that I am in high school, I play three varsity sports in which I am captain of each team. I feel as though I could bring leadership to the team as well as always working hard and being determined to improve my skills every day. I am different from all of the other athletes because I am more or less self taught. The coaches at my high school were very in experienced. I stayed after practices by myself and worked on the off-season improving my skills at every given moment. I have the determination and work ethic to get me far in life and I feel as though I am over looked because of the high school I go to.
