I always try to be the best student I can be no matter what circumstances there are. I have a good work ethic and I always strive to be more than average. I love knowing that I do well in school and hard work pays off. When it comes to volleyball, I LOVE to be a part of a team. I am a captain for my high school varsity team and was chosen for that role by my coach. I love having leadership and being a good role model for not just my teammates but the whole program. Being a captain helps me hold myself accountable and gives me good responsibility. I would consider myself a total extrovert and someone who loves to have fun, joke around, lighten moods, and get along with everyone I can. On the other end, I am able to get very focused and concentrated when I need to be. Another huge characteristic I possess is being super competitive, especially when it comes to sports. I will never accept a loss for myself unless I know I played my absolute hardest and did my part of the team. At the same time though, I always try to be there for my teammates when they are frustrated with themselves or in a rut. All of high school, I have never had anything below an A- on my transcript and never dropped below a 4.0 for my GPA. I set goals for myself and push myself to never be "just average". I make sure to set my priorities!
