My name is Ellysa Exline. I am a Junior at Salem High School in Ohio. I am a defensive specialist and an outside/right side hitter. I first started playing volleyball when I was 10 years old for the Infinity Clubs 12 year old team. I played for Infinity for 7 years always playing for an age older which challenged me. For Infinity I was a primary setter and a right side hitter for 6 years. In high school I took on the position of an outside hitter and defensive specialist. This led to me playing full rotation on my high school team as well as an Elite team last year for Infinity. In the following years my high school team accomplished many things, like winning two district titles and getting first place in our conference. As for me, I got All-Conference honorable mention two years in a row as well as honorable mention All-District. Seeing that my position has changed throughout the years shows I am a player that is able to adapt and play whatever position is needed to further increase the success of my team.
My studies, athletics, and curriculum show my dedication, desire and focus. I look forward to college and hope to continue playing the game I love.
