My name is Charlene Ballard and I am a "5'9" outside hitter from Tipp City, Ohio. I have a 3.7 GPA and I scored a 22 on the ACT. In the 2020/2021 fall season my high school team went undefeated and played in the Ohio division 2 state semi tournament. Although we lost, we put up an acceptionally good fight and had a lot of fun doing it. I would like to attend a school that allows me to balance my acedemics and athletics as I am hoping to major in physical therapy. I do not have a specific size school in mind, and I am open to attending a big or small school. I have been looking at schools in the midwest and some in the east close to Ohio. Financial assistance will also be a very important part of my decision making as we are in need of the support. Athletically, my goal is to be a player you can count on. Even if I am not the strongest player on the court I will be there to cheer everyone on and bring up the positivity. I believe that I can show off my abilities the best as an outsdie hitter, but I am working hard to become a better serve receiver and passer overall. I would love to play at the DII or DIII level as I believe that is where I fit the best. I am looking forward to a great school season, and wish you the best of luck in yours.
