I fell in love with volleyball in seventh grade. From that moment on, my focus shifted to volleyball. I started playing club ball, and really focusing my energy towards being the best player that I could. I still play softball and basketball at the varsity level, and I also play on a travel softball team. I believe that being a multi sport athlete makes me well-rounded, and that being exposed to so many coaching styles has helped shape my character. Academically I rank in the top ten percent of my class. I am also in the National Honor Society. I take AP and advanced classes to challenge and ready myself for academics at the collegiate level.
In college I would like to major in the science field, preferably in the field of genetics. I would also consider biotechnology and am contemplating the idea of a minor in communications.
On my Varsity volleyball team, I play all around and serve. I lead the SWBL-buckeye league serving and am ranked in the state for served aces. This season, as a Sophomore I earned second team all-league and an all- area honorable mention. I would like to focus on being a defensive specialist or possibly a libero position at the collegiate level, however if the fit is right I would love to be considered as an OH as well. I am a team player, a leader, and very coach-able. I have an assertive, but laid back personality. This makes me an aggressive player, and very personable and classy off the court.
Thank you for taking the time to view and read my profile!
