Maren Zepfel '23 Recruiting Profile

I have played volleyball for 8 years,  and I truly love and enjoy playing the sport.  I have played outside, right side and middle hitter, and I have also set for my teams when needed. I play 6 rotations generally.  I will play any position the coach and team needs me to play,  and I will hustle and play as hard as I can for every point.  I enjoy the game of volleyball as well as being part of a close knit team.  I  have a high volleyball IQ that is very helpful in game situations. Academically, I would like to go to a school that has a good health science program. My plan is to become a pediatric occupational therapist.  Currently,  I have a 3.9/4.0 GPA and am taking honors and AP classes.  I have been able to maintain my strong academics despite being hybrid last year and having to do a lot of self-teaching.  I am an  easy-going, adaptable, go-with-the-flow-person, and I hope to be able to play the sport I love and pursue the career of my dreams.
