I will be a good candidate for college because of my work ethic, perseverance, and attitude. I will continually contribute to my college with personal accountability to my team and coaches, as well as my academics. I will always do this with a true competitors heart. I love volleyball because it is intense, fast paced, and encourages teamwork skills which can be applied to other areas of my life. I am self driven by my personal desire to succeed. Additionally, my success is fueled with support of and love of my family who encourage me in all my endeavors on and off the court. I bring leadership, kindness, accountability, and drive to my team. I am a coachable athlete who is dependable, hard working, and goal oriented. I want the opportunity to play volleyball in college because I love the game. I want to continue working under the high standards of being a student athlete as I make the transition to college. I believe it would be a disservice to myself to halt my passion for volleyball after graduation plus, I love the competition. I have played volleyball since I was nine years old at ClubONE, a Tulsa Oklahoma based club team, as well as Broken Arrow High School. I have been a starter every season in school ball and I am a 2 year varsity letter athlete. My freshman year I played on the ninth grade, JV and Varsity Teams. I was named defense player of the season during my freshman season for my junior varsity team. My sophomore year I led my varsity team with 86 service aces. Since I have been at ClubONE I have been to the Girls Junior Nationals Championships three consecutive years since my 13's season. I work just as hard off the court as I do on the court. I am a student who self starts on tasks, participates in class discussions, and has strong communication skills with my teachers. I am currently enrolled in a leadership class at my high school which exposes me to working with others and networking off the court. I plan on continuing my volleyball career with ClubONE and Broken Arrow High School until I graduate. A coach once told me "winners want the ball", I know I'm not ready to pass that ball yet and will be an asset to any organization I have the privilege to be a part of .
