When I go to college, I would love to be a Visual Arts Major. Playing college volleyball is very important to me because it will give me the opportunity to utilize my talent and receive an education at the same time. Ever since I started playing volleyball in the 6th grade, my main goal was to be able to play in college and this has motivated me work harder to get better. One of my biggest accomplishments include two years of representing Oklahoma in the USAV High Performance Volleyball Tournament. My favorite things about volleyball is the intensity, getting excited over kills, and how it’s a team effort which allows you to create a special bond with your teammates on and off the court. I also ran track which has helped me with speed an agility. Throughout the past 6 years of playing and training, not only have I improved my volleyball skills, but the sport has helped me with my teamwork and leadership skills. I’ve learned that it’s very essential not to play for myself, but to play for my teammates which is what I will continue to do in the future.
