I fell in love with volleyball in 2020. My basketball season was interrupted by Covid-19 just before provincial championships. The unexpected break gave me the opportunity to explore other options. I had played volleyball on school teams but it just wasn't at a level that I consider fun. I jumped at the chance to play at the club level in August of 2020. It was so unbelievably exhilarating. I liked basketball, but I absolutely love volleyball! It's practically all I think about day and night. I want to play at the highest college level to keep developing my skills.
I'm a great student in the classroom and on the court, and have been a huge asset to every team that I've played with. I am extremely competitive - silver won't cut it. I'm passionate about volleyball, and most of my time is spent, playing, training, watching, talking, and thinking about the sport. I'm a natural athlete who is dedicated to improving every day. I'm reliable, responsible, and a stabilizing presence on any team. I am also a supportive teammate, looking to be and play with the best.
I am interested in pursuing a bachelors degree in education while playing volleyball at the highest level. I hope to play for a competitive program where I can excel as a student athlete. I am open to locations in Canada and the U.S., focusing on coastal and northern U.S. institutions.
