Mikayla McBain '21 Recruiting Profile

My post-secondary goals are to have a positive educational experience with a focus toward teacher's college, and joining a high-quality volleyball team to participate with, and I would like to have a new home away from home. 

I am a dedicated athlete, both on and off the court. I work hard in the gym to get stronger and become a more explosive libero. I see myself as a team-oriented player, I support my team-mates in extreme high-pressure situations and always encourage those around me to keep a positive attitude and never let up. 

As for athletics,  my team follows the skills taught through Gold Medal Squared, and I am noted to have an excellent straight + simple platform on serve receive and I am great at reading the ball on defence. I put in 100% effort at practice and always strive to be on the court in a game.

I work hard in the classroom and have achieved honors for all four years of high school. I help my classmates in school and always take the initiative to learn more.
