I have been MVP for two years in a row at my old school, team captain, and currently playing for Leaside Lighting, and I have learned to grow and have a love for the sport. When I step onto any court, my mind clears up from school to the problems I had in my day to focus on one thing-- volleyball.
I don't want my volleyball career to end once I finish my high school years; I want to continue it and grow a love for it with new teammates, a new team, new coaches and experience it all from their point of view while continuing to work on my volleyball skills.
These are all some things that you guys have heard before, I'm sure but, something that sets me apart from everyone else is that if you allow me to continue to play the game I love, I will never fail on the fact of continuing to be determined, committed, and set on to this sport that I am sure at this point we both have a shared love for.
I have a real interest in Health Sciences for post-secondary school, and ever since I was young, I have wanted to be a family doctor. My goals are to do well in all my pre-med courses while, of course, being able to manage volleyball on top of it. I want to be given the opportunity to prove what I am about, not only as of the person I am and my goals but for my upcoming years in my volleyball career.
