Juliana Carter '24 Recruiting Profile

I have enjoyed multiple sports growing up. Volleyball, Skiing, Golf, Track, and Football. For the past 6 years, I have competed seriously in Volleyball and Skiing. Now,  at 16 I have decided to focus on my passion which is Volleyball.  I bring up the multi-sport background as these have played a large part in the athlete I am today. I skied at the highest level in my province. I have been coached by national-level coaches and a world champion. I am willing to put the work into sports and education. Both have taught me life lessons in discipline and working with others.

Individual sport has helped me develop skills in resilience that serve me well with my team. When the pressure is on, my resilience stands out. I'm counted on for reliable serving and have been clutch when needed most. My calm demeanor has led to many time-outs called on opposing teams when I am on a serving rally. I'm considered confidently humble and I'm so eager to play with others that share similar values and passion for volleyball and education.
