Sigourney Baker '24 Recruiting Profile

I am excited for the adventure of the next chapter of my life. I take volleyball seriously, so I would like to play with like-minded student athletes who are also competitive and studious. I am a fast and very intelligent at the net. I have played as a middle most of my club career. When I took a recent clinic for outside hitters, I discovered that I love being on the court all of the time but I absolutely love being a middle hitter. It's such a dynamic position and it gives me so many possibilities to be creative with my setter and fellow players. I am working at my team gym to increase all of my metrics: to get stronger and to jump higher.  I love to practice hard and contribute points on the court but I also want to find a team that believes they are a family off the court. I am still undecided on my field of study but I really enjoy working as a lifeguard.
