Emily Bourne '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Emily Bourne.  I am a sophomore at Santiam Christian High School in Corvallis, Oregon.  I enjoy watching movies with family and going on vacations.  I also enjoy listening to music with my friends and spending time with my teammates off the court.  As a service I enjoy playing and working with kids.  I am sure it is obvious I love playing volleyball.  

Some words I would use to describe myself are hardworking, enthusiastic, and what my dad calls a pre-crastinator (or proactive).  I am loyal, dedicated and reliable.  I work hard and expect the same from my friends, classmates and teammates.  I try to raise the bar for those around me.  I am willing to try new things such as FFA and drama until I understand if I am interested in the activity.  Some I do and some I don't but I always give it a shot.  I enjoy leading but I am also willing to follow and let others lead when it is not my turn.

I am well balanced between academics, athletics and social activities.
