After High School I have plans to attend college and major is marine biology. I have been passionate in both marine biology and volleyball from a young age. I started playing volleyball in 6th grade through an after school program because my school did not offer a volleyball team. In 7th grade I moved to Oregon and tried out for my school team as soon as I could. I made the 7th grade JV team and that season was truly a turning point for me in volleyball. After that season I joined the local club team and have been playing there ever since. My 8th grade year was affected by Covid and I was only able to play club before I started High School. My freshman year I tried out for my school team and made varsity. I was moved to the starting middle position despite never playing middle before. Skipping to my junior year and my 2023 season l was chosen as team captain and was later selected as 1st team all conference. Volleyball has become a very big part of my life and something I spend a lot of time doing. It's something I am very passionate about and hope to continue even after college. Academically, I take my classes and assignments very seriously; I have been enrolled in AP classes since sophomore year. I'm a hard worker on and off the court and help my team strive for the best. Out side of volleyball and the classroom I'm in a business club (DECA) which has helped me learn a lot about teamwork and leadership. I run track in the spring, ski in the winter, and I've also been a scuba diver since I was 11. Most recently, I've been coaching my clubs 12u team. I try to keep my life broad and find many new things I love to do all when keeping a few things close to my heart. As I go into my future, out of high school I hope to keep volleyball in my life and grow my skills and IQ in the sport.
