Hi I'm Alex! I have been playing volleyball since I was in fourth grade and I have loved it ever since. I started off playing CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) and played as all around and got first place my 5th and 6th grade years. I then began playing club for Rose City and won regionals my second year of 14's. I have always played for a competitive team and have never gotten lower than 5th place in regionals. I began high school and played on JV my freshman and sophomore year and stayed undefeated both years. Rose City ends after 14s so I moved on to play for Adidas NW Juniors. My second year of 16's I got three concussions in the time span of 4 months so I was not able to play much that year. During the summer of 2017 I got back surgery for my scoliosis which corrected my spine from 57 degrees off to 12 degrees. I was not able to play school ball in the fall but then started training for club with my coaches in November. Currently I am on my clubs 17's national team with all of the girls from my team last year. I am discipline, motivated, and hardworking when it comes to athletics and have been through more than enough when it comes to adversity. A fun fact about me is that I got shot in the chin with a pellet gun that was two feet away from me right before tryouts and had to get surgery to remove it.:) My team also just won the national bid to go to detroit on the summer! I hope to talk to coaches that find me interesting and and a good fit for their team!!!
