I have played volleyball since 4th grade, and it has always been one of my biggest passions, along with the dream to reach the next level of play. I love pushing myself to be better and putting in extra work, whether in the gym on off days or enrolling in various classes to challenge myself in new areas. This past season I even got the honor of assistant coaching for a 14s team, and I look forward to continuing coaching in the future. In order to stretch out of my comfort zone academically, I look for variety in my education. By enrolling in AP classes, art classes, advanced math, and computer classes, I look forward every day to developing new skills and knowledge.
I have had the honor of being captain of my high school team and two of my club teams. I believe having strong leadership skills can aid in pushing myself along with my teammates to be their best while upholding a positive team dynamic, which is most important. Over the past year and a half, I have also found a love for the gym outside of volleyball and look forward to pushing myself in strength training, while helping with my on-court progress.
I am always eager for any coach's feedback and try my best to stay open-minded in order to improve every chance I get for myself and for my teammates. I am interested primarily in private Division 2 or 3 schools in the Pacific Northwest to be close to family, but I am open to other locations close by!
