Shayla Moody '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Shayla Moody. I go to Abington Senior High School located in Pennsylvania. Volleyball has been a passion of mine since I was 8 years old. I started playing volleyball as a middle hitter. I then switched my position to rightside/ OH so I could have a better chance at playing at the collegiate level.  My energy on the court is vibrant and uplifting whether we are winning, or down by 24. I have a very coachable mindset. My desire to improve is strong, so receiving  constructive criticism, and feedback helps me build on my skills. I have very good cognitive abilities with retaining new ideas and concepts. I am truly dedicated and committed to becoming the best version of myself on the court, and I want to help everyone around me do the same.
