Alivia "Ali" Yordy '20 Recruiting Profile

    I am looking to play collegiate volleyball for a competitive unniversity.  I hope to study biology as my undergraduate degree, with plans to attend medical school later on.  I love the sport of volleyball and play year round.  Before I started volleyball I was a competitive gymnast.  Doing gymnastic helped shape and condition my body for volleyball.  When I first started volleyball I didn't realize how fast I was going to fall in love with the sport.  

    I think that I am a very good leader on and off the court.  Whether it is helping my teammates or getting the team motivated for the game, I strive to make my team the very best that it can be.  I try to bring a positive attitude at all times, and always encourage my teammates to give their best.
