Hello Coaches,
My college goals are actually very simple...I would like to become a member of a winning program in any division and to be a successful student athlete. I think a lot of student athletes going to college look too much at what division they want to play for, meaning. they only want to go "DI" and in the process they do not look at the success of a program. There are a plenty of successful programs in every sport at all levels....DI, DII, DIII or NAIA. When I am looking at possible colleges to commit to I will look at programs that have a successful coaching staff that have coached at that program for many years, the program is in contention for a national title each year, that does not mean they win every year but are competitive on a national level each year. If that is the case that would mean that the coaching staff does an excellent job of creating successful student athletes that are getting better once they are a part of that program. I would also look at how those student athletes compete academically. How many academic All-Americans does that program produce each year and what is the graduation rate of that program's student athletes.
As I said my goals are simple....be a part of a successful college program, a program that will help me become an excellent student athlete, contribute myself to helping that program win a team national championship, become an All-American myself and also become an Academic All-American.
