When I was younger, I was a competitive gymnast for several years. My family has been blessed with height (my parents and brother are all at least 6 feet tall) so I knew gymnastics was not a sport I could do long term. However, during those years, I learned discipline and what it took to be a successful athlete.
I started playing volleyball in 7th grade. After the first practice, I was hooked and knew this was the sport for me. Ever since, I have had a great love and appreciation for the game. I feel that I am very coachable, always willing to learn how to be a better player and teammate. I play mostly Middle for high school and club as that is where my team needed me the most. I also play RS, and would consider myself to be a versatile player and willing to play whatever role is needed to benefit the team.
School is extremely important and my #1 focus is getting good grades. My goal after High School is to attend college to major in Accounting and to be able to continue my volleyball career.
