Alivia Huffman '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach, 

My name is Alivia Huffman.  I am a 2023 outside hitter for the Redbank Valley Bulldogs.  Redbank Valley is located in Clarion County, Pa.  I have been a 4 year starter for the Volleyball team at Redbank.  What I am most proud of is that I am a multi-sport athlete and have been a  4 year starter in all sports and have excelled in all sports.  While participating in sports year round, I have held a 3.4 GPA and have met all the graduation requirements for entry in collegiate sports.  I think that if you were to ask any coach about me that they would all share that I am a team oriented player, with a selfless attitude.  My accolades have come from working to make those around me better.  When the team is playing as a cohesive unit, each player is performing at their best.  I absolutely love team sports and cannot see a future in college without the opportunity to play.  Volleyball is a passion for me and I have worked very hard over the last 6 years to get to the point where I am today.  As an outside hitter, I have the power and accuracy to make a difference for the team.  I have a tremendous competitive spirit on the court and use this to motivate those around me.  I have balanced my on the court competitive spirit with a very contagious positive personality.  I feel this is what separates me from other players.  My father was a college athlete and he has shared with me the mindset of what is needed to excel in sports and life.  I have 4 siblings and all are multisport athletes.  Not only have my siblings and I had the chance to have my father as our coach, but our students and community have benefited from his coaching a well.  We are a strong family and take great pride in representing ourselves and our community and do all we can to make differences in our school and community.  Throughout my high school career in volleyball, I have been recognized as an all-state, all-district and all-conference player.  I look forward to the opportunity to continue my career in volleyball, but more so look forward to being part of a team of individuals that work hard toward a common goal success.  Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.
