I am Jillian Avadanian and I have been playing volleyball since 4th grade. My main position is libero and/or defensive specialist, however I have stepped into the role of setter and outside hitter when needed. I currently play at Berk Catholic High School as Libero/DS. This club season I was a part of the Nook Volleyball Academy’s 17 Black National team. I also participate in track and field for my high school, throwing javelin and running 100m,200m, and the 4x4 relay. I have earned varsity letters for both track and volleyball in my high school career, as well as an All-Division achievement award for the javelin throw. This specific participation has helped me increase my speed and agility on the volleyball court. I pride myself on speed, agility, control, and discipline which makes me a great choice for the role of Libero/Defensive Specialist. I am very interested in playing volleyball in college and I am hoping to find that fit between my love for volleyball and my desire to pursue my academic goals of studying Engineering.
