My family has definitely been a major influence on my life. They inspire me to be better at everything I do and to push myself to my limits. My friends have also played apart in making me who I am today because I'm always around them. In 7th grade is when my school allows students to start playing volleyball, so I decided to try it out. After I started learning the basics, I became in love with the sport and decided to continue, I've been playing volleyball ever since. Through playing volleyball I've learned that I can be a great leader by helping my team overcome their struggles. Also, while playing volleyball I've been more dedicated than I ever have before. For high school my goals are to maintain a 4.0 GPA and to always get on distinguished honor roll for my report card. I would also like to receive as many college credits as I can so I'm taking college in the high school classes.
So, far I've met these goals in high school and my goals for college are just as high. For college my goals are to get a scholarship for academics and volleyball. Also, I want to go to a good college for four years and better my time management skills for all of the studying I'm going to have to do. I'm an outgoing person and have a positive attitude all the time. I will work on and practice anything that my coaches tell me to in and out of practice. I am a very athletic person and in my free time I workout to keep myself in the best physical shape that is asked of me. During practice and games I am very competitive, I always have a smile on my face, I laugh a lot, and like to be funny. I'm always respectful to my teammates and especially to my coaches.
