Teah Bines '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard working student/athlete that strives for excellence.  I aspire to become successful in a career where I can help others.  I enjoy people and know I want a career where I make a difference in people's lives.  While obtaining my college education, I passionately dream of continuing to play volleyball at college level.  I have strived hard to improve my game since the 8th grade, and accomplished making the varsity team, as starting setter, in my high school freshman year and have continued as starting setter.  I've continued to play year around at club JAVA, summer camps, YMCA games, whenever and wherever I can get my hands on a ball!  I set high standards on myself, and strive to reach personal goals. One such goal was to become "Most Valuable Player" on my team, and this goal was reached this past season.  I was also recognized as "Athlete of the Week" within my School District as well as recognized five times this past season by "Go Erie Times" for "Breakout Player of the Week".  My largest goal and dream is to become successful, which to me, is a fulfilling education and career, while playing the game I love to play, volleyball.
