For as long as I can remember, I've always been a very active person. Sports have been a huge part of my life as a hobby, a stress outlet, and a lifestyle. After playing volleyball for about two years, I've come realize that it is something that I don't want to leave behind after graduating high school. I aspire to play at the collegiate level to continue participating in a sport that I fell in love with and to further improve and challenge myself to become better than who I am.
Every time I play, I desire to improve and I do so every opportunity, as much as I can. Due to personal reasons, I am unable to play club so I work myself as hard as I am capable of, to make up for the learning experiences that I miss. If there is anything that I can improve on, I am constantly working to better myself, from lessening my reaction time to finding different ways to improve my passing and digging. As a teammate, I want to and can be both a leader and a friend. I understand the ups and downs that come with the sport and I can empathize, but I can also push myself to be a better version of me by helping my teammates become better version of themselves.
