"The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don't play together, the club won't be worth a dime." - Babe Ruth. Hi, my name is Yaralismar Díaz Rodríguez, I'm from a small town in Puerto Rico called San Juan. I can describe myself on the court like, I never quit, hard work, being a leader, very competitive, no pain when it's the time to play and not being afraid about getting hurt. I've been playing volleyball since my 4 years old, always in a club team. Since I have 10 years old I've been traveling to Orlando, Florida to the AAU Volleyball Championship. My first time to travel to Orlando we got second place in gold bracket and my coach gave the trophy to me. On spring break 2013 was my first time traveling to other country, Atlanta, to play the Big South Qualifier and there I had an interview with CNN. In summer 2013, I traveled to Orlando again and we got third place in gold bracket and I won the All American. I have a goal everyday and it is to jump higher. Every time that I go to Orlando there's always two or three persons that tell me that I jump really high. I don't mind if I'm the smallest person in my team I just only have a big heart that reaches the tallest player. I am going to college to study Design and Applied Arts, I know that it's going to be great experience.
