My name is Bianca Umpierre. I am a setter for the class of 2021.My goals and dreams are to attend a university where I could be part of the volleyball team and at the same time pursue my academic dreams to study in a field of natural science, ideally biology, and to be able to go to med school in the future.
I started playing volleyball when I was ten years old. I’ve played six club seasons and six school seasons. I had always been a middle blocker and opposite hitter all throughout elementary school and middle school but, everybody told me I had very good potential as a setter. Just last year (2016-2017) I decided to embark on a new phase in my volleyball career, as a setter. I am a very loyal, dedicated, and coachable player. I always strive to give my all and learn as much as I can, both in school and in volleyball. When I play volleyball I forget about everything that is going on outside of the court even if I am having a bad day. This is why I always have the best attitude in the court.I am a very good student and take mostly honors classes. Even though I could be taking regular classes, I love the challenge that they give me.
Volleyball is my passion and my dream has always been to be able to play it throughout college! I am open to playing anywhere geographically that has my preferred major.
