As I begin the college search process, my primary goal is to find a school that will allow me to be successful academically, athletically and socially. I am hoping to major in either social work or criminology, because I would like to pursue a career where I can help others every day.
When I think about what I hope to be part of my college experience, I would like that to include being part of a team of girls driven toward the same goal. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of my high school’s Varsity volleyball team since I was a freshman and that has without a doubt been the most impactful part of my high school experience.
It has taught me to balance academics while chasing and winning a state championship.
I have been playing volleyball competitively since I was in second grade. I have been part of some great and some not so great teams, which has influenced my motivation and I feel made me a better teammate on and off the court. I strive to be a positive teammate and work hard to be a leader on the court regardless of the score. I am looking forward to having more opportunities to compete and grow as an athlete.
