My name is Gaby Leclerc and I am a 5'9" junior left side/right side hitter from Narragansett, Rhode Island. I began playing volleyball at age 12 for Ocean State Volleyball Club. I now play for Blast Volleyball Club and play on an 18s OPEN team. I have started on the Narragansett High School varsity team for 4 years, so far. As a freshman I received 3rd team All-Division. As a sophomore I received 1st team All-League. As a junior I received 3rd Team All-League, based on my team's ranking during that season. As a senior I received 2nd team All-State, 1st team All-Division, and All-Tournament. During my senior year, my high school team and I had an undefeated season, making us Division Champions, then came in 2nd at the State Championships. I can touch 10' on my approach and 9' 6" on my block jump. As of now, I have a 4.38 GPA and I have made High Honors as a freshman and sophomore, and Distinguished Honors as a Junior.
I am interested in an institution where I can maintain the right balance between academics and the court.
My father played on the Canadian national team in 1980 and he has been very instrumental to my volleyball techniques and strategies.
