Hello, my name is Kate. I am a very dedicated and passionate athlete. My desire to play competitive volleyball and to study forensic science at college level is highlighted by achieving over 90% at end of my grade 11 year and being chosen as team captain last 2 years on my club and high school teams. Volleyball is truly my passion as i see myself grow though it daily. As a team captain/leader i have developed as a team leader and role model, i love the challenge this role gives me. I also share my experience and knowledge assisting coach our jr. program at my high school.
When i step on the court, i know, in order for my team to succeed i cannot be self centered and i must play for the girl beside me! My grit, and dedication makes me stand out on a court. I am a multi sport athlete, playing basketball, badminton, and track. I have competed in provincials 2 consecutive years in discus, hold the school record for javelin, won 3 consecutive regional medals in badminton, and was presented the SR. Athlete of the Year in my Jr year.
I am eager to begin this next chapter of my life. I couldn't imagine anything better than playing competitive volleyball while i study forensic's and work towards my dream career.
