I am currently a grade 12 student who has so much love and fire for the sport of volleyball, but also for school! I have the undying interest for sports psychology and human kinetics, and I am working towards one day becoming a physiotherapist with a strong background in psychology. I have been playing volleyball since I was in elementary school, and every year, my desire to play and win got even stronger. Over the past few years I have been able to develop diversity through volleyball, Different teams, coaches, tournaments, and locations have all made me a part of the player I am today, and continuing to grow into. I am a resilient player, meaning I will never give up on a ball, or my family and friends, no matter what. I have also come to realize that hard work can and will beat talent, and I offer the one of the hardest working hearts. But that doesn't go with out saying: talent is born from hard work. I, unlike many athletes, have a strong love for arts and reading. I have developed a positive and efficient mindset through lessons in books, or themes in a piece of art I have made or just analyzed. All being said, my overarching goals of post secondary are to play the sport I love while excelling through my classes and becoming part of a new family.
