Personal Statement
I started volleyball in 5th grade in my PE class, and I fell head over heels for. It has been a love of mine for 7 years now and it's going to last forever! Sitting in the stands at my first UT Volleyball game, I remember saying to my dad, "I want to be on that court one day!" No matter what court, I want to give my little 11 year old Katie that chance to be playing in college. I've played travel ball for many years with 3 different teams, and have acquired many skills over the years. I know I'm not the tallest, I don't have the highest vertical in the world, or be the fastest but I try my best to be. I strive to be the best on the court. I pour my heart into the sport, it really has became a very big part of my life.
