2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I absolutely LOVE the game of volleyball and plan to play in college after I graduate from Brentwood Academy HS - a private, Christian college preparatory school - in 2018. I want to play volleyball at the highest level I can at a college that is a great fit, both academically and athletically.
I am a competitive, respectful team player and open to playing wherever the coach needs me. I have played middle, right side and outside hitter, but I hit pin-to-pin and really like playing all 6 rotations. This versatility allows me to excel in beach volleyball as well, which is also another passion of mine.
I am an extremely hard worker both in the classroom and on the court. I am mentally tough, play great under pressure, and a leader who leads with my actions, both on and off the court. Words I work to live by: Prepare, compete, and persevere!
It is also important to me to make a difference in my community. I spend time working with charities and on community service projects throughout the year. I have used my love of volleyball and art as a means to reach out to communities in need. I want to continue that effort in the future.
