Alyssa Hatley '18 Recruiting Profile

I am Alyssa Hatley I am a 6'0" outside hitter, Volunteer High School Class of 2018. Currently I play outside hitter on the varsity team at my high school, I also play club volleyball with Kingsport Volleyball Club. I have been a starting varsity player at Volunteer High School for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. I was awarded First Team All-Conference and All Academic Conference honors during the 2014 and 2015 season. In the spring of 2016 I attended USA Volleyball High Performance tryouts in Atlanta, from that I was selected to participate in the USAV High Performance National A3 Training Program hosted in Colorado Springs, CO, I was also chosen as an alternate for the A2 program.  During the summer of 2015 I attended the A3 training program and it was a great learning experience and allowed me the chance to work with top coaches and players to improve my game. I am excited to attend for my second year in a row and I look forward to another great experience. I am also preparing for the upcoming school season with the Volunteer Lady Falcons where I have been a starting varsity player for the last 2 seasons. I also recently completed a successful club season with Kingsport Volleyball Club where I was a part of the 16Q team and have been a key player for the club for the last 4 seasons.  My goal is to be successful both on the court and in the classroom, I currently hold a 4.0 GPA and rank 45 of 303 in my graduating classI have a life goal to be successful in both academics and athletics.  I work hard and put complete effort into everything I do.  I love being part of a team and learning new techniques and skills from both my teammates and coaches.  Coachable in the classroom and on the court!
